The Dough Hook, 117 N. Main St.,  is collection donations for the Epilepsy Foundation, as November is Epilepsy awareness month.

According to owners Marlena and Shawn Ballinger, customers may sign their name onto a purple ribbon which will be displayed at the store.

"We already have a significant amount of them displayed on our front counter," said Marlena. "I also had Spectrum Salon put two purple strips of color into my hair in honor of epilepsy awareness."

The Swiss Community Historical Society will share its expansion plans with Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce members during the Friday, Nov. 14, chamber breakfast.

Breakfast serving is from 7 to 7:30 a.m. The chamber program is from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.

Following the program, at 8:45 a.m. is a business roundtable with county commissioners and economic development directors from Hancock and Allen counties.

Both programs are free and open to the public and take place in the third floor of the Bluffton town hall.

Downtown Bluffton holiday garlands wil be hung on Saturday, Nov. 15.

According to Jon Kinn, Bluffton fire chief, the department will begin hanging garland at 8 a.m. Store owners should have their garland in front of their store at that time.
