BFR Sports and Fitness, 215 Snider Road, released its fall program schedule with offerings for persons of all ages.

The four-page program highlights (a printable attachment at the bottom of this story) includes:

• Youth programs including basketball, dodge ball, football, rookie all sports, soccer, tiny tots, volleyball, swim lessons and tennis.

• Adults programs include coed league volleyball, coffee walks, personal training, longest loser contest, tennis and several additional programs.

August was right on target temperature-wise, but rainfall was less than normal, according to Guy Verhoff, Pandora weather observer.
 
During August the average daily temperature was 71.6 degrees (the normal average is 71.1 degrees).
 
The high temperature was 90 on Aug. 26 and the low was 46 on Aug. 15.
 
August precipitation registered 1.39 inches, while the normal precipitation for the month is 3.28 degrees.

Bluffton seniors are invited to monthly breakfast at the Bluffton middle school again this school year, according to Greg Denecker, Bluffton school superintendent.

Book ReViews, 123 S. Main St., Bluffton, will hold a genealogy and family history roundtable discussion with Joanne Vercler Niswander from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 20, according to Dr. Christina Walton, manager.

"Discover more about genealogy, also called family history, the study of families and the tracing of their lineages and history in this roundtable discussion of methods used by Joanne Niswander, author of four books on family research," said Walton. 

Fall classes are forming now for “Music Together, The Joy of Family Music,” a program of music and movement classes for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and kindergartners, according to Laura Hartzler.

Fall classes include 10 weeks of classes that take place at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays from Sept. 30 through Dec. 2. Classes are held in the basement of First Mennonite Church, 101 S. Jackson St., Bluffton.
