Several activities take place this month at Richland Manor.  Here are some of those events:

• Nov 15 - Family night / family pictures with Santa, 6:30 - 8 p.m.
• Nov 17 - Lima craft fair at fairgrounds, 9 p.m.
• Nov 18 - Sunday brunch, 11 - 12:30 p.m.
• Nov 19 - Bowling at Westgate, 10 a.m.
• Nov 21 - Birthday party with Alan Siebert, 2:45 p.m.
• Nov 22 - Thanksgiving celebration, 12 p.m.
• Nov 24 - Bluffton Blaze of Lights parade 5 p.m.
• Nov 30 - Allen county museum christmas tree festival 10 a.m.

In November 2006, Ohioans passed the Smoke-Free Workplace Act, making Ohio the 12th state to protect all workers and the public from exposure to secondhand smoke in public places.  Approximately 280,000 Ohio worksites are impacted by this law.

A Bluffton discount card is now only $5 while supplies last. They are available at Village Cut & Curl, Cherry Street, or Polished on North Main Street.  All proceeds go to Bluffton Relay For Life.

The Bluffton American Legion Post 382 will observe Veterans Day several times between Friday and Sunday.

Programs are planned at the Mennonite Memorial Home at 1 p.m. and Maple Crest at 1 p.m., on Friday Nov. 9. Then, the Legion will visit Richland Manor  at 2:30 p.m. Sunday Nov. 11.

In a program at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Larry Core and Tom Craig will show Blufton fourth graders how to properly fold the American flag. They will tell fourth graders what each fold of the flag means. Here are those symbols:

Phil Zimmerly of Common Grounds is the guest speaker at the 7:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast. Zimmerly recently purchased and installed a coffee roaster in Common Grounds. He will talk about roasting coffee during the breakfast.

Several persons will be recognized during the breakfast including Junior Weihrauch of Arlington, the director of the Bluffton Blaze of Lights parade for 15 years.

Richland Manor will provide this month's breakfast. Serving begins at 7 a.m. The meeting is in the third floor of the town hall.
