"The Bluffton Senior Center is starting a new tradition," Tonya Meyer, director, told the Icon.

With the help from Signature Health Services, the Senior Center hosts it's first ever Cookie Walk on Saturday, Dec. 15, from 9 a.m. until noon.

"The idea of a cookie walk is to have a wide variety of cookies available to purchase.  The buyer can walk in with a little money and walk out with 12 different cookies or six of one kind, two of another and four of another." said Meyer.

Trilogy Health Services, a Louisville, Ky.  based provider of senior living and health care services, is celebrating 15 years of serving seniors across the Midwest. Trilogy currently operates 74 senior living communities throughout Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan and Illinois.

Richland Manor, Bluffton, is a Trilogy Health Campus. 

 

The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce website has a new look thanks to an overhaul this week from Ryan Lowry, a Bluffton web developer.

The website www.explorebluffton.com, which includes lots of information about the commnity, attracts over 1,200 viewers per month.

The following are a list of babies reported born at Bluffton Hospital recently.

Nov. 10 - Alexander Hayes Wamen, son of Melissa and Jay Wamen, 19 inches long, 6 pounds and 10 ounces.

Nov. 10 - Asher George Haselman, son of Jeremy and Chelsea Haselman, 20 and a half inches long, 7 pounds and 5 ounces.

Nov. 12 - Connor Martin Frantom, son of Harold Martin and Catherine Rene Frantom, 20 inches long, 8 pounds and 4 ounces.

The Icon spotted LKF 6, an Allen County plate, parked at the high school during the elementary Chrtistmas concert.
