This is the second in a series of five stories from the sesquicentennial committee that will highlight different aspects of the Bluffton Sesquicentennial.
The Village of Bluffton announces its Sesquicentennial Celebration in honor of Bluffton'^A's ^A"150 Years of Progress.^A" People of all age groups will be able to experience history first-hand through demonstrations and reenactments throughout the week.
Boy Scout Indian Village will be held all day at Buckeye Lake on Saturday, June 25, Sunday, June 26, Friday, July 1, and Saturday, July 2.
Craig Stone new Bluffton barber is expanding his shop's hours. He is now open Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

BFR will offer Adventure Camp and Gym & Swim for Pre-schoolers in June, according to Carole Enneking, BFR director.
Children ages 2-6 are welcome to register for the first session of Gym and Swim. Tentative plans are for the program to start June 6, meeting on Monday and Wednesday from 4:30-5:50 p.m. for five sessions.
Gym and Swim begins with activities at BFR followed by a swim lesson at the Bluffton Community Swimming Pool.
The session will be delayed if the Bluffton pool is not open at that time.Cost is $40 ($25 BFR member).

Bluffton's sesquicentennial will consist of an entire week of displays, lectures, celebratory events and performances, an Indian Village and even some civil war era re-inactments.

In conjunction with the sesquicentennial, the S.H.A.N.N.O.N. Service Club of Bluffton is sponsoring a street fair/flea market on Friday, July 1, according to Duane Bollenbacher.
The event is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Church Street, between Main and Jackson.
Activities include a fishing booth, games, activities for children, and free Face-Painting. Lunch stand will be open at 11 a.m.. To reserve a vendor space for the flea market (cost is $10), contact Deb Bollenbacher at 419-358-7365.
