The Icon viewers have spoken. The 2011 Bluffton Sportsmen's Club tagged trout number one will be called "Grand Shannon." The name was chosen when the club invited The Icon to run a viewers' poll.
Three names were voted on by viewers. Nearly 50 viewers participated in the poll. The winner, Grand Shannon, captured 71 percent of the votes. Second was Shannon at the Rileys, with 22 percent. Third was Shannon of Old, with 7 percent.
The Icon wishes to thank the Sportsmen's Club to allow us to provide a poll where residents could assist in naming the tagged trout.
