OTTAWA - Visiting Bluffton scored two runs in the sixth to eke out a 2-1 non-league softball win over Ottawa-Glandorf Thursday evening.
The comeback victory lifted the Pirate record to 2-1 this spring.
Bluffton hurler Libby Schaadt fired a complete game three-hitter. She struck out a dozen, walked three and allowed just one earned run in seven innings.
Schaadt shut out the hosts over the final six innings to earn the win.

BLUFFTON - The Bluffton track and field team hosted a four-team meet Tuesday night at Salzman Stadium.
The Pirates competed with Delphos Jefferson, Arcadia and Allen East in an unscored meet. The Bluffton boys dominated their foes by winning most events.

CAREY - The host Carey baseball team used late-inning firepower to defeat Bluffton 13-3 in non-league play Tuesday evening.
The Pirates took the lead with a three-run rally in the top of the second inning. Freshman Cole Koenig singled in a run and junior Cayden Rayle doubled home another Pirate to give the visitors a 3-0 edge.
But Carey chipped away with two runs in the bottom of the second. In the home half of the fourth, the hosts took the lead with a five-run eruption.
