(SPENCERVILLE) - Bluffton’s wrestling team won a tri-match in a big way Monday night.  The Pirates defeated Lincolnview 78-0 and Spencerville 56-9.

(BLUFFTON) - For the current batch of Bluffton girls basketball seniors, each season has ended just shy of a Northwest Conference championship. 

The girls took a huge step towards ending the drought with a thrilling 44-43 victory Thursday night over Spencerville.  Senior Alivia Koenig played the role of hero, making two free throws with 1.4 seconds left to win it for Bluffton.  Bluffton is now 11-3 and 5-0 in NWC play.  Spencerville fell to 11-3 and 4-1.  

The Bluffton HS girls' basketball team defeated Spencerville tonight  44-43. The Pirates are now the only undefeated team in the NWC. The Lady Pirates move to an 11-3 record and 5-0 in the Northwest Conference. 

The Lady Bearcats drop to 3-1 in the Northwest Conference and 10-3 on the season.

(BLUFFTON) - The Pirate boys basketball team needed a win to refresh the season and they earned a run away victory over Fort Jennings Saturday night by a season 56-31 count.  The win snapped a three game losing skid for Bluffton and improved the Pirates’ record to 9-3 on the year.  Fort Jennings dropped to 2-10 with the loss.

(BLUFFTON) – The student section was decked out in fishing gear but sadly, the Pirates came up empty.  Bluffton’s boys basketball team dropped their first conference game of the season on a last second banked three pointer in overtime.  Final score : Lincolnview 55 Bluffton 52. Bluffton is now 8-3 overall and 2-1 in the conference.  Lincolnview is 6-5 and 2-1.

(WAPAKONETA) – After winning eight straight games to start the season, Bluffton’s boys basketball team dropped their second straight contest Tuesday at Wapakoneta.  The losses came at the hands of two of the top teams of the Western Buckeye League in Ottawa-Glandorf and Wapak.  The two teams have a combined record of 16-3.  The host Redskins downed the visiting Pirates 61-54 Tuesday night in a game that had a tale of two halves.
