The Pandora United Methodist Church will host a free community meal on Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington St., Pandora. The meal this month is provided by the Rebecca Circle and is ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, dessert and beverage.
The churches of Pandora and Gilboa are offering food boxes for households in the Pandora-Gilboa School District. The boxes are designed to provide nine meals for a family of four.
In order to pick up a box, persons must register by 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 24, by calling 419-384-3905.
Boxes will be available for pickup on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 11 a.m. at the Pandora United Methodist Church located on State Route 12.
First United Methodist Church, Bluffton, will host a program called 5th Quarter following home Bluffton High School football games this fall.
The programs are an open invitation to the public following each home varisty game for food and highlights of the game. The 5th Quarter takes place in the fellowship hall of First United Methodist Church, Church Street.

Sept. 7 - Delphos Jefferson
Sept. 21 - Ada
Oct. 19 - Paulding
Oct. 26 - Columbus Grove
St. John's United Church of Christ, returns to its fall Sunday worship schedule, according to Rev. Carol Clements, pastor.
Starting Sunday, Sept. 9, Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m. and the worship aervice begins at 10:30 a.m. St. John's United Church of Christ is located at the corner of College Avenue and Jackson Streets, Bluffton.
Pandora United Methodist Church will hold a program "The Many Faces of Old Glory: How we got our flag and how we got the United States."
According to Rev. Duane A. Kemerley, pastor, "The presentation is at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 5. The video program has been called the finest flag show ever. This program is sponsored by the Mid-Century Club of Pandora and will be hosted at the Pandora United Methodist Church located at 108 E. Washington St."
