122 N. Jackson St., across from the elementary school

Bluffton Pediatrics is now open in its new home at 122 N. Jackson St., across from the elementary school.

Beth Bish, APRN-CNP,  nurse practitioner, said that the practice saw its first patient at its new location on April 15.

The new location is the former Robert Neff and Associates, architect office. Originally, the building housed the practice of Dr. B.W. Travis, Bluffton general practitioner. In this way, the building has reverted back to a medical building.

A young builder is constructing truck skyscrapers at Bluffton Child Development Center this week. These building projects are frequent learning experiences at the center.

Fourth consecutive shutout win; 5th whitewash in the last seven outings

BLUFFTON - Host Bluffton defeated local rival Cory-Rawson 10-0 in run-rule shortened non-conference softball action Tuesday evening.

The Lady Pirates improved to 16-1 with their 15th consecutive win. Meanwhile, the Lady Hornets fell to 2-13 with the defeat.

It was Bluffton's fourth consecutive shutout win, and their fifth whitewash in the last seven outings.

Interstate 75 southbound entrance and exit ramps at Bluelick Road, Lima, will be closed between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, for inspection of the ramps' bridge structures.

The Interstate 75 northbound ramps will remain open. The following detours will be in place. Work is being performed by the ODOT District 1 roadway services department.

Interstate 75 southbound exit ramp to Bluelick Road traffic will be detoured onto I-75 southbound, the state Route 81 interchange and I-75 northbound back to Bluelick Road.

Bluffton council passed a resolution of support for the application of Bluffton University to a United States Department of Agriculture Development Loan on Monday.
