Work continues on a major remodeling of Bluffton's McDonald's Restaurant on State Route 103.

On Tuesday and Wednesday the parking area received new pavement. It's part of a major remodel, which includes the entire outside of the restaurant and the dining room and bathrooms inside.

Bluffton PD offering safe medication disposal for residents

A prescription drug take back program is coming to Bluffton.

Bluffton’s police will soon offer a safe and secure medication disposal location for residents.

Bluffton HS graduate, Meg Burrell, featured in BGSU Magazine

Meg Burrell took advantage of every opportunity afforded her at Bowling Green State University — and then some.

Before the Bluffton, native walks across the Stroh Center stage and graduates in May with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in sociology and heads off to law school, Burrell shared some advice with future Falcons.

Karis Wilson is recipient of this year's $500 college scholarship from the Bluffton Hospital Auxiliary.

It is awarded yearly to a student entering the medical field.

Karis is the daughter of Kent and Coleen Willson of Jenera. She is a senior at Bluffton High School.

Karis has traveled on several mission trips and is already a State Tested Nursing Assistant working at the Mennonite Memorial Home.  She will be attending Purdue University.

Hilty Home, 304 Hilty Drive, Pandora, will honor veterans and their spouses with a complimentary hot breakfast on Friday, May 25, starting at 9 a.m.  The Putnam County Veterans Service Commission is co-hosting the breakfast which will also celebrate the start of the Memorial Day weekend. 

The menu will consist of sausage and egg bake, orange and banana breads, fresh fruit cup, orange juice and coffee.  No reservations are needed, but questions can be directed to Putnam County Veterans Services at 419-523-4478.
