Year-long program that meets twice a month from October to May

Ever heard of MOPS? MOPS stands for Mothers of Pre-Schoolers; it's a group of mothers, who have at least one child not yet in school, that meet regularly for fellowship and support.

Ebenezer Mennonite Church has offered a MOPS group since 1999. It's a year-long program that meets two Mondays a month from October to May. Moms come from at least six different school districts. And it's not limited to moms who attend Ebenezer church; in fact, 99 percent of moms who attend the current group are from other churches in the area.

Bill Suter, Et Cetera Shop board member, explains how the former glove factory will transform into Et Cetera Shop. An open house of the future home of Et Cetera was Friday. Click here for many more photos.

Et Cetera Shop threw a party on Friday afternoon. The invitation provided two words: Glove Factory.

That invite drew several hundred visitors to that large brick structure in the 300 block of Bluffton's North Main Street.

Attending were Et Cetera board members, volunteers, some former glove factory employees plus some area residents who simply wanted to take a look inside.

Here's eight views of the open house, showing upstairs and downstairs rooms. A renovation begins soon. Watch the Icon as renovations and evenutal relocation of Et Cetera take place.
