Bluffton Icon experienced a solid year of views, according to statistics from Google Analytics. And the above fact was one of many that reveals viewer habits on the Icon in 2017.

Brad Fruchey will serve as president of the Bluffton school board in 2018. The board elected him during its reorganization meeting on Jan. 8. Also elected, as board vice president, was Wesley Klinger.
In addition to Fruchey and Klinger, board members are Ken Lugibihl, Brad Scoles and Renee Smith.
What a difference one week makes. Last Thursday Bluffton's high temperature was16 and the low was 1 degree. On Thursday, Jan. 11, the Citizens National Bank clock displayed 60 degrees at 2 p.m. With January's low reading of -12 on Jan. 2, that's a 72 degree difference than today.
Phyllis J. Campbell, 76, formerly of Findlay, died on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, at the Hilty Home, Pandora.
She was born on June 17, 1941, in Findlay to the late James A. and Virginia D. (Ricketts) Baughman. On Dec. 9, 1962 she married Darwin G. Campbell and he preceded her in death on July 22, 2010.
