Former Bluffton mayor, Fred Rodabaugh, will offer his observations on Bluffton over the past half century during the 7:30 a.m., Friday morning, Feb.10, Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast. The event is in the Bluffton town hall.
Rodabaugh is a life-long Bluffton resident. He graduated from Bluffton High School in 1965. He attended Bluffton College and then served in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam.

The Icon plans to release a second book in this series of Bluffton stories. The book is in the planning stages and will be released this fall. The second book's theme is Bluffton in the 1950s.
The Bluffton University football team is making strides in the classroom as well as on the field. Of the 24 seniors recruited by head coach Tyson Veidt four years ago, 100 percent are scheduled to graduate on time in May, more than 60 percent with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better.
