The Bluffton Athletic Boosters invite Bluffton HS sports fans to meet the coaches Sunday, Aug. 21, at The Centre. A dinner is available at 12:30 p.m. and the coaches will be interviewed by a local news station about the upcoming season.

About a month ago, I was inspecting my herb garden and noticed some little green plants that looked vaguely familiar. My fingers itched to yank them out because they WERE NOT HERBS and therefore, DID NOT BELONG.
Longer answer: Neraly 35 velomobiles in the first-ever tour across the United States. The "vehicles" are actually tricycles designed for commuting to work. The vehicles are described as "ultra-efficient bicycles." The drivers started in Portland, Oregon, on their way to Washington, D.C.
Bluffton High School's marching band finished band camp and headed to the Allen County Fair on Friday evening.
Prior to the fair, the band presented a preview show for parents at the village park. A view of the pre-game including "Are You Ready For This?" "the Star-Spangled Banner," "Hang on Snoopy," may be viewed in an Icon video.
The band's first local performance will be during the Cory-Rawson football game, Friday, Aug. 26, at 7 p.m. at Harmon Field.
Traffic to the front doors of the Bluffton elementary are busy this week. The class lists are posted. Bus routes are posted on the middle school doors.
The ghost of schools past stands proudly at the end of Church Street. the Victorian beauty served the students of Bluffton from the 1880s to the early 1950s.
