A quack breakfast

Beth Lamb looked out her window on Thurman Street and saw this flock of ducks picnicing her yard this morning. She sent the photo to The Icon.

Vanessa Greer hands Clarence Kooker a hot dog while his wife, Mary Ann, adds some mustard to hers. It was Firecracker Friday at Bluffton's First National Branch bank.

Toby Buckell, was absent from his familiar Common Grounds chair all during the Bluffton sesquicentennial week. How could someone leave town during such an event?

Simple: He received an invitation to speak at a conference on an island off the coast of the Americas. To be exact, it was Barbados. He said the food was great and the weather was fantastic.
