First graders at Bluffton Elementary School became published authors this month when they wrote and illustrated their very own books.
First grade teachers, Annie Gill, Ryan Dunlap, Amber Huffman and Teri Steinmetz partnered with StudentPublishing.com to give each student a free paperback copy of their own story.
The students have been working since November on stories for their books. An author party was held May 23 so that students could celebrate their first books
