Et Cetera Thrift Shop, 327 N. Main, held a fundraiser on Monday, February 28 with all shopping proceeds for the day and donations made specifically for this purpose going to the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) Ukraine Emergency Response. Shop manager Chrissy Lugibihl reports that the store sent over $3,000 to MCC.

David C. Engelhardt of Bradenton, Florida and formerly of Bluffton, Ohio. David was born July 28, 1938 to William and Mary Engelhardt in Indianapolis, Indiana. He joined his Heavenly Father on January 26, 2022. David, a longtime resident of Bluffton, was the owner of Engelhardt Landscaping Inc. and was a member of Bluffton Presbyterian Church.  He was a member of Mt. Cory #418 F & A.M. and Rawson # 550 OES. David served the Grand Lodge of Ohio as District Deputy Grandmaster of District 10. David enjoyed gardening, traveling and entertaining friends and family.

On March 2, 2022 the community of Bluffton remembers and honors the Bluffton University baseball players who were killed in a bus crash in Atlanta, Georgia fifteen years ago. Bluffton University has posted a video "We Remember" that recounts the tragic event and shows how the university has paid tribute to team members.

Bluffton University has named Zach Hammon as its next head women's soccer coach. 

Hammon began coaching at the collegiate level in 2014. He most recently served as the associate head coach for women's soccer at Indiana University Kokomo, where he's coached for the past three seasons.
