The Bluffton women's swimming team traveled to Asbury University in Kentucky for the first-ever swimming competition in Bluffton University history! It was also the coaching debut for Ben Rath who started working toward today when he was named the inaugural swimming and diving coach in March. Bluffton went head-to-head with Asbury and Transylvania.
The Bluffton University volleyball team came up on the wrong end of a 3-0 sweep at Rose-Hulman on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021. Bluffton fell to 9-17 overall and 1-6 in the Heartland Conference, while Rose improved to 11-14 and 2-5 in the HCAC.
RHIT pulled out a couple tight sets, 25-22 and 25-21, before putting the hammer down with a 25-8 whitewashing in set three.
Allen County Public Health now has all vaccine boosters available at their vaccine clinics. The FDA and CDC have authorized a single booster dose for the three COVID-19 vaccines available in the United States–Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson–to strengthen protection against serious outcomes from COVID-19. Individuals are now able to get a booster of either vaccine regardless of which brand was used for their primary series of shots. Eligibility is as follows:

James E. King, 76, of Cairo, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 5:00 a.m. at Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton. He was born on January 27, 1945 in Lima to the late Milton and Marjorie {Keith} King. On May 10, 1975, he married Karen Sanders, who survives him in Cairo.
