MEDIA RELEASE__Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 8375 Phillips Rd., is hosting a Fish Fry  
Friday on November 14 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. for $12/meal.

This event is carry out only and includes up to 3 pcs of fish, cheesy potatoes, green beans, applesauce and cookie.

Local council members, school board members, and township trustees will be determined by the November 4 general election in Bluffton. Find your sample ballot HERE. Also on the ballot are tax levy renewals for Children Services and senior citizen services in Allen County, including Senior Citizens Association, Inc. of Bluffton.

NOV 1 MEDIA RELEASE__The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) is reminding everyone to drive cautiously as deer-related crashes tend to rise in early November across Ohio. There is typically an uptick in these types of crashes due to the combination of peak deer breeding season and the end of daylight-saving time.

The results are in for the 2025 Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce Scarecrow Decorating Contest: Skyler Thomas and Hunter Foust of GROB Systems came in first place in online voting. Thomas and Foust built the winning entry in two days, with design input from Evan Steiner. Rene Gabriel presented the traveling trophy, which will rest in the GROB trophy cabinet for the next year. Second place:Citizens National Bank; Third place: Et Cetera Shop.
