Meet Bluffton Farmers Market vendors

By Liz Gordon-Hancock
Bluffton Farmers Market is the place to be on Saturday mornings in town. According to the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce, our town "boasts the best farmers market in northwest Ohio."

In celebration of our small but mighty farmers market, the Icon will be featuring a market vendor each week over the course of the summer.

This week's feature vendor is Eileen's Natural Soap.

Amelia Arthur counts sweet corn ears in the Suter Produce little red barn on State Route 103 Bluffton. Corn is sold at the barn and on Saturday mornings at the Bluffton Farmers Market.

Dr. Reynolds sees patients in Bluffton on Mondays and Thursdays

Among the many specialty clinics provided by Bluffton Hospital is one focusing on GERD, also known as gastroesophageal reflux disease.

Dr. Jessica Reynolds, M.D., of Surgical Associates of Northwest Ohio, Findlay,  sees patients in the Bluffton Hospital specialty clinic on Mondays and Thursdays.

GERD is caused by a weak muscle in the esophagus. It allows acid and bile to flow back from the stomach into the esophagus. That causes damage to the lining of the esophagus, throat and lungs.

The Bluffton High School student senate and Bluffton Athletic Boosters have a Superfan t-shirt for you.

Every student who purchases a 10-game pass for $25 will receive one of these shirts while the supply lasts.
