A star-spangled red, white and blue Little Free Library is now located on the west side of S. Main St. near Bentley Rd. This installation by the property owners was recently approved by Bluffton Council. Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization based in Saint Paul, Minnesota: "Our mission is to be a catalyst for building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access for all through a global network of volunteer-led Little Free Library book-sharing boxes." This Bluffton location is ready for you to take a book or leave a book.

James "Mike" Picklesimer "Pickle," 66, passed away October 25, 2025, at the Meadows of Ottawa.
Mike was born May 9, 1959 in Findlay, to James Leo and Betty (Grant) Picklesimer who preceded him in death. On August 23, 2002 he married Jennifer (Strahm) Picklesimer who survives.
