Regina Nagy, MD, a physician specialized in obstetrics and gynecology, has joined the experienced women’s health care team at the Neil & Laura Clark Women & Children’s Center, a division of Blanchard Valley Health System.
Dr. Nagy received her bachelor’s degree in biology and mathematics at Wilberforce University (Wilberforce, Ohio) and her master’s degree in anatomy at Wright State University (Dayton, Ohio). She completed medical school at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and fulfilled her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Detroit Medical Center.
In partnership with Ohio Means Jobs-Auglaize County, Apollo Career Center will host over 60 large and small local employers representing many different career fields, Thursday, May 3, 3-6 p.m.
The Career Expo will offer services offered by Ohio Means Jobs – Auglaize County such as resume building, mock interviews, and skill upgrade. Job seekers should bring a resume unless they need assistance creating one.
Apollo high school students will have the opportunity to talk to employers 1:30-2:30 p.m., and then the expo will be open to the public beginning at 3 p.m.
Fred Steiner, author of “The Bluffton We Never Knew,” will talk about the book during a program at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 29, at the Allen County Museum, 620 Market St., Lima.
The book includes nearly 170 photos of Bluffton covering its first half-century as a village, from 1861 to 1911. Steiner will show several photos from the book and will point out things in the photos not generally seen by viewers.
The book includes several rare photographs from the museum’s own collection. Signed copies of the book will be available following the presentation.
BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University baseball team struck first but Ohio Northern had the last laugh with a 10-3 victory on Thursday, April 26. ONU improved to 22-10 overall, while the Beavers dropped to 18-14 on the season.
Gregory singled and came around to score in the bottom of the first, however, the visitors answered right back with a score in the top of the second before opening it up with four runs in the fifth and five more in the sixth for a 10-1 spread.
