BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University football squad hosted Franklin College, the school that has dominated the HCAC during the past decade, on an oppressively hot Saturday, Sept. 23. A quick start by the Grizzlies put Franklin ahead early and the visitors looked back as the Beavers were on the wrong end of a 59-30 final tally, dropping to 1-3 on the season and 1-1 in Heartland Conference play.

There's nothing quite like a high school homecoming. And here's a glance at some of the photos from Friday's parade and pre-game ceremonies.

Leah Conley was named 2017 Bluffton High School homecoming queen and Kaleb Jefferson was named king.

The announcement was made in a pre-game ceremony Friday night on Harmon Field.

Other seniors on the homecoming court are Allison Wise and Sydney Hoff and Christian Groman and Dakota Bricker.

BEREA, Ohio - The Bluffton University volleyball team traveled to Baldwin Wallace for the OAC/HCAC Crossover Tournament. The Beavers came out with a 1-1 record on the opening day of play. They took down John Carroll in the first match (25-12, 25-16, 25-23) but fell short to undefeated Baldwin Wallace (16-0), losing in three sets (25-16, 27-25, 25-20).

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's soccer team dropped an 8-0 decision to Huntington University on an oppressively hot Friday, Sept. 22, 2017. Huntington improved to 4-3-1 overall, while Bluffton fell to 1-6 on the season.

Bluffton welcomes a change of season with a great festival

Bluffton welcomes fall on Saturday as the 14th annual Bluffton Fall Festival brings hundreds of visitors to the community.

Activities are in six locations throughout the community with most taking place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. As in past festivals, bus transportation is available between all locations at scheduled intervals.
