Interstate 75 northbound near Bluffton will be reduced to one lane through the work zone on Wednesday, Aug. 23, from approximately 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for bridge deck repair. Work is being performed by the ODOT Hancock County maintenance garage.
During the repair, the entrance ramp from state Route 103 to northbound Interstate 75 will be closed. Traffic detoured east on state Route 103 and state Route 235 back to Interstate 75 northbound

In 1883, Al St. John relocated his sucker rod and handle factory from Lima to Bluffton, to become almost overnight the major employer of men living in Bluffton.
This is the Buckeye quarry in the summer of 1944. The Bluffton Lions Club gathered for a picnic to celebrate the renovation and clean-up at the Buckeye park. This photo is taken from the east end of the quarry. Look closely and you can see a platform for diving into the Buckeye.
In Ada, thee Ohio Northern University observatory will be open to the public from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30. The observatory is located on the west side of campus, off of Lincoln Avenue and near the baseball field.
