Patricia Ann McCafferty, 73, died March 5, 2017, at Bluffton Hospital. She was born May 17, 1943, in New Jersey to the late John and Anita (Matthews) Derry. On Oct. 21, 1977, she married Bob McCafferty who survives.
Pat graduated from Chagrin Falls High School in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. She retired from housekeeping at Bluffton Hospital and also volunteered at the hospital. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Bluffton. Pat enjoyed gardening, reading and traveling to Maine.
Bluffton Bike and Pedestrian Pathway Board's next focus is a pathway along the west side of Bentley Road from Augsburger Road to the bridge at Riley Creek. The project was recently placed on the village's comprehensive capital improvement projects proposal as a potential project in 2018.

FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Bluffton University baseball team opened its 2017 campaign in style with a sweep of Anna Maria on Sunday, March 5. Five Beaver hurlers combined to toss 14 innings of one-run ball, an unearned tally in the final frame on Sunday!
