You can see why the Jefferson Street (State Route 103) bridge is on the replacement list of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT). The bridge will be replaced in 2019. In addition a six-foot sidewalk will be added to both sides of the bridge.

Student art on display the entire month

The library’s Adult Book Discussion group will meet Wednesday, March 1, at noon to discuss "The Summer That Melted Everything," by Tiffany McDaniel, and Skype with the author during the discussion.

There’s a new sign above the entrance to Natural Healing Massage and Reiki Center.

The business, owned by Dyanne Gregg, LMT and Reiki Master Teacher, is located in the Tommy Tire Plaza, Suite D, 142 E. Jefferson St.

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera, will hold an Ash Wednesday Lenten service at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1.  Pastor Matt Nowak will speak under the theme “Repent:  Turn to Jesus; Do Not Turn Away."  A light supper will be served by the 7 and 8 grade students and their parents beginning at 5:30 p.m.  Everyone is welcome and the church is handicapped accessible.
