Waterline replacement, Bentley Road bike-pedestrian path construction, SR 103 work and more

Village officials revealed six major capital improvement projects proposed for 2017, 2018 and 2019 late last week.

If each of the six is approved, the village will embark on three years of intense projects.

Specifics are detailed in a three-page document attached at the bottom of this story. With these items on the council’s proposed calendar, discussion and decisions will follow. Each project has several items to be considered and those considerations are listed in three pages of the attachment.

Timelines and estimated costs are not included in the projects.

You can see why the Jefferson Street (State Route 103) bridge is on the replacement list of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT). The bridge will be replaced in 2019. In addition a six-foot sidewalk will be added to both sides of the bridge.
