Allison Neuenschwander, 87, died Feb. 5, 2017, at Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton. Allison was born Nov. 25, 1928 in Columbus Grove to the late Hiram and Edna (Luginbihl) Neuenschwander who preceded him in death. On July 24, 1954, he married Gloria Beemer who preceded him in death on Oct. 26, 2014.
Bluffton University football coach Denny Dorrell was one of several area coaches on a Super Bowl panel at Ohio Northern on Saturday. It was part of the Made In Ada Wilson Football Festival. All NFL and NCAA Division I footballs are made in Ada.

The Beavers improved to 12-9 overall and 5-9 in the Heartland Conference, while visiting Transylvania slipped to 13-8 and 8-6 in the HCAC.
