The Bluffton University Nutrition Association (BUNA) will hold its annual fall benefit dinner, from 5-7 p.m. today, Nov. 6 at First Mennonite Church, 101 S. Jackson St., Bluffton. Proceeds from the dinner will benefit both the Bluffton Community Assistance Corp. and the Lima-based Churches United Pantry.
All are invited to attend this year’s dinner, which will include homemade soup, bread and dessert. The BUNA students will be serving those who attend.
Lynda Best of the Village Cultural Affair Committee say the Ream Holiday Folk Art Display cutouts will be placed on the Bluffton Presbyterian Church lawn Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Lights and cutouts will be put in place. This is a call for all volunteers to assist!

Six trophies will be presented to winners in the 2015 Blaze of Lights parade. Three new trophies are part of this year's parade. The trophies include, first place best float, second place best float and third place best float. New this year are trophies for parade units other than floats. These include a mayor's trophy, chamber trophy and cultural affairs committee trophy. Junior Weihrauch, parade director, has 75 units signed up so for the the Nov. 28 parade.
