Ben and Evania Moser graduated from Bluffton High School together in 2011. I had the chance to catch up with them about their lives together since then!
What did each of you do for school after graduation? Evania: I went to Rhodes State College to get my Associate Nursing Degree.
Ben: Well I initially went to BGSU for my freshman year of college and majored in Criminal Justice and then transferred to Bluffton for Youth Ministry after my first year of college.
The 2015-16 Bluffton school year starts on Monday. The school building is ready. Are you? Here is the display that greet students in the lobby of the grade school.
Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce launches its new membership drive for 2015-16 on Sept. 1.
With the drive the chamber also launches into several fall activities.
The first chamber breakfast of the fall is Friday, Sept. 11, at 7 a.m. in the Bluffton town hall third floor. The meeting will include an update on several chamber events that have taken place this summer. In addition, several new members and new Bluffton businesses will be introduced.
The Heirloom Antique Club's next meeting is at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 1, in the Bluffton town hall.
The speaker is Jim Gatchell. He is a retired teacher who grew up on his family farm working with his father and grandfather. This work started his interest in old farm tools and a love for historical preservation.
He will display items from his collection of old farm tools during his presentation. Persons are invited to bring any old tool to share with the group.
Lincoln Highway enthusiasts may have their own Ohio license plate if enough persons pre-order the plates.
The Ohio Department of Public Safety’s Bureau of Motor Vehicles needs 150 plates reserved by Sept. 30 for the plates to be available to all Ohio residents.
Proceeds will help support the preservation and promotion of the highway, which is a few miles south of Bluffton.
