Two Bluffton University students are among 20 nationwide selected for an internship with one of the most powerful supercomputers in the world.

Matthew McCoy and Daniel Piero will spend the next year working on-site and remotely with Blue Waters, which is housed in the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The internship includes a full-time commitment this summer.

Citizens National Bank  has named Jeff Stratton as Vice President/Business Banking Officer of their Findlay office. In this position, Stratton is responsible for establishing new commercial relationships for CNB, as well as analyzing current customer portfolios on a regular basis.

Stratton has nearly eight years of experience in the banking industry, formerly serving as a commercial lender, customer service manager, monitoring analyst, and EDP support underwriter.

Mary Elizabeth Clark, 88, died on June 16, 2014, at 6:47 p.m. at the Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.

Mary was born Aug. 26, 1925, in McGuffey, Ohio, to the late John M. and Merle M. (Lewis) Canaan. On April 29, 1944, she married James A. "Cappy" Clark who preceded her in death on April 13, 1981.

Mary retired from Triplett Corporation, Bluffton.  She was a 1943 graduate of Ada High School. She was a member of the Beaverdam Church of Christ. Mary was a volunteer for the Bluffton Hospital Auxiliary and worked at the Shannon Theatre in Bluffton following retirement.
