Bluffton Child Development Center students were visited by staff of Imagination Station on Sept. 12. The fun visit enabled youth to explore lots of science experiments. The Toledo-based Imagination Station is a hands-on science museum with over 300 exhibits for children of all ages.
The Village of Bluffton has received an up-to-$531,217 grant agreement from the Federal Aviation Administration, according to Jamie Mehaffie, village administrator.
“The grant will be used to rehabilitate the apron, the runway and the taxiways of the Bluffton Airport,” he said. “Once we receive the fully executed agreement back from the FAA, we will move forward with scheduling on the work.”
Amil Tellers/Encore Theatre presents Noel Coward's award-winning classic comedy "Blithe Spirit" Sept. 20-21-22 and again Sept. 27-28-29.
Performances are at 8 p.m. all evenings except for a 2 p.m. performance on Sept. 29.
Members of the cast are Chadrick McNeal, Alana Fickel, Kedryn Carpenter, Kim Warnecke, Brian Emerick, Ashley Shank and Sarah Bennett. The production is directed by George Dunster.
Tickets are adults, $15; seniors (62+), $12; youth (through high school), $10.
