"The Bernese Four" from Berne, Ind., will perform during this year's Bluffton Swiss Day program on Sunday, June 24.

A potluck, at Ebenezer Mennonite Church, 8905 Grove Road, at 12:30-3 p.m., features a musical program by Wilmer Sprunger and friends of Berne Ind., with an opening by the Bluffton-Pandora Swiss Chorus.

Bring a dish, already hot or cold and ready to serve, and your own table service (plates and silverware). Drinks will be provided.

Bluffton Lions Club Freedom Fest is Saturday, June 30, at Salzman Stadium. The event includes a Harlan's chicken dinner with serving from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets are available at several Bluffton merchants and Lion members. Tickets are $7 for a donation.

Vicki Oates, licensed massage therapist, and owner of Absolute Body Therapy of Massage, 105 Vine Street, Bluffton, will close her shop at the end of the business day on June 29.

"I will be relocating to Columbus to work at another clinic," she told The Icon.

Life many be a bowl of cherries but this month life is a bowl of blueberries.

The blue summer berry is now being picked at Blue Moon Blueberries, 14848 Road 3 (between State Route 12 and Gilboa) in rural Pandora. The berries are on the Jeff and Chrissy Lugibihl farm.

U-pick is available Mondays and Thursdays from 7 to 10 a.m. Berries are also available for sale. Call 419-384-7338 to place and order or for u-pick updates.
