YFC House Project on South Bentley open to the public July 6
The YFC House Project will have an open house at the 160 S. Bentley Road (near I-75) property from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, July 6.
PHOTOS AND A FLYER SHOWING SPECS OF THE PROPERTY ARE IN ATTACHMENTS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS STORY.
The open house enables the public see the final project, to thank those that have helped in the project, to let people know more about the ministry of Youth For Christ in the Bluffton / Pandora area and to let potential buyers see the property.
The Pandora / Bluffton module of Findlay Area Youth for Christ started this project in October. Representatives of the Maurice and Eula Fett Estate came to our board with a fundraising proposal.
The estate owned the property where the house has been built and was interested in donating that and helping build a new home, the proceeds of which would help to fund the outreaches of YFC to the Bluffton and Pandora communities.
Youth for Christ has been serving the area since the 1940s. David Glick and Hannah Slechter are the staff that are presently working with students from 5th -12th grade.
Volunteers, contractors and local suppliers have teamed together to build 2,630-square- foot home with four bedrooms, two and a half baths and a basement. When the house sells, all the money will help fund the vital ministry of Youth for Christ in this area.
