Push to open
Betty Cookson, former director of the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center, stands beside the most important newly installed feature on Main Street. On July 7, Betty cut the ribbon on a handicapped accessible door to the Senior Center. Ken and Lee Cookson, Betty's sons, purchased the door in honor of their mother. "The door will help those with wheelchairs and walkers as well as shoppers with strollers gain better access to the building and will be a permanent reminder of Betty’s long service to the Senior Center and to Bluffton," said Tonya Meyer, Cener director.
