Community worship service Sunday on Prebysterian lawn
Bluffton's annual summer community worship service is at 9 a.m., Sunday, July 31, in the Bluffton Presbyterian Church lawn. It is sponsored by the Bluffton Area Ministerial Association.
The theme is drawn from the community VBS program, “Deep Sea Discovery,” and music from that event will be shared by children who attended VBS during the service.
This relaxed worship experience includes musicians Scott Edwards and Dave and Jane Sycks, plus reflections on the VBS daily themes from area ministers. Also, the Icon understands that a special mystery guest will make a splash at the scene!
In case of inclement weather, the service will be held in the Bluffton Middle School cafetorium.
Offering will go to the Bluffton Community Assistance Program food pantry.
