Bluffton Airport on Monday's council agenda
Bluffton council will be updated on work at the Bluffton Airport on Monday.
Jamie Mehaffie, village administrator, has received a quote from Nonnemaker Asphalt Sealcoating of Columbus Grove to seal the asphalt at the airport.
The Airport Commission intends to paint a compass rose on the airport apron. The asphalt needs to be sealed before the compass is put in place.
A quote to seal the compass area is $875. Two quotes were received to seal all the airport asphalt. Mehaffie will recommend to council that the village advance money to the airport improvement fund to pay for sealcoat. The village will apply for a reimbursement grant to the FFA for this project.
Additional council agenda items are in the attachment at the bottom of this story.
