Village park pond – Council wants the pond at the entrance of the village park on County Line Road filled in. Emergency action is planned, meaning the resolution will have one reading.
Bluffton Airport – Council wants to close the airport dump located on village property on the east side of the County Line Road. Emergency action also planned on this resolution.
Future public improvement projects – Council wants to enact legislation stating that all contracts for public improvement in the village include specific language addressing debris removal – disposal of dirt and construction debris. Emergency action also planned.
Leaf pick up continues
Jamie Mehaffie, village administration, will update council on leaf pick up. “It’s in full swing. Residents who are adjacent to alleys, should place leaves on the street-side of their property, rather than long the alleys,” he said.
Equipment used in leaf pick up is not designed for tight spaced. Leaf pick up will continue through the end of November.
