Crime Victim Services seeks volunteers
CASA of Allen and Putnam counties will hold an orientation Tuesday, Sept 12, from 11 a.m.- 1p.m. and 6-8 p.m. for those interested in participating in the fall training class. Refreshments will be provided.
CASA of Allen and Putnam Counties, Ohio, a program of Crime Victim Services, is a volunteer driven organization dedicated to providing a voice or children who have been abused and neglected.
A Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) is a trained community volunteer, appointed by a judge, to speak up for the best interests of an abused or neglected child. The ultimate goal of a CASA volunteer is to help make sure the child has a safe permanent home.
For more information or to RSVP for one of the sessions, contact the CASA office at 419-222-8666 or [email protected].
