Register soon for "The Healing Power of Nature", presented by Naturalist Beth Theisen of Johnny Appleseed Metro Parks
Naturalist Beth Theisen of Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Parks will present The Healing Power of Nature on June 12 at 6 p.m. This program is intended for adults, and registration is required by June 7. (Please call or stop by the library to register.) Scientists are finding that a connection to the natural world is crucial for our health and well-being; join Theisen as she discusses this "Healing Power of Nature”.
Registration is also open for the park system’s next library program for adults, Backyard Habitats with Johnny Appleseed, which is on July 17 at 6 p.m. With less than 10% of land in Allen County in any semblance of natural area, our rich natural history is in danger of becoming just that – history. Join Naturalist Dan Hodges for a sampling of what the natural world in this area has to offer, and learn a little about how you can participate -- even in your own backyard!
