The hearing announcements were made at Monday’s council meeting.
At 7:15 p.m. on March 9 is a hearing to review engineered plans approved by the Planning Commission for future construction on Phase 2 of the Parkview Subdivision from 3S Development.
At 7:30 p.m. on March 9 is a hearing to review recommendations of the Planning Commission to amend the village zoning map for properties along the south side of State Route 103 between County Line Road and Huber Street, along with properties along Huber that border the Norfolk Southern Railroad between Jefferson and Cherry streets.
The recommendation of the Commission is to assign a R-I residential district to all properties in the described area except for four properties with addresses 176, 180, 182 and 186 E. Jefferson St. Those four properties are recommended to be assigned to a C-II commercial district zoning.
