Tarleton "Junior" B. Davis Jr. was a U.S. veteran
Tarleton "Junior" B. Davis Jr., 79, passed away September 27, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center.
Junior was born February 3, 1946, in St. Mary's, Ohio, to Tarleton and Virginia (Stormes) Davis, who preceded him in death. On October 2, 1970, he married Sharon (Montgomery) Davis, who survives.
He was a 1965 graduate of Bluffton High School and attended Lima Technical College. Junior was a proud veteran serving from November of 1965 to February of 1969. He retired after dedicating 30 years to the Ford Motor Company. Junior was a member of the Findlay Moose Lodge #698, the VFW Post 9381 in Ada, and the Bluffton Sportsman's Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being with his friends and family.
Junior is survived by his wife, Sharon Davis of Bluffton; two children, Nicole Davis of McComb and Cody (Meeghan) Davis of Ottawa Lake, Michigan; two grandchildren, Emersyn and Grant Davis of Ottawa Lake, MI; a sister-in-law, Louise Davis of Celina; a sister, Jeanne (Art) Smucker of Sun City, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three siblings: Jack Davis, Joanne Ginter, and Jim Davis.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Orange Township Building, 2973 Township Rd 28, Bluffton, OH 45817, with military honors beginning at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Arrangements are entrusted to Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Bluffton.
