Send free garage sale ads by Wednesday noon for Thursday sales

By Paula Pyzik Scott

Let's talk about free ads on the Bluffton and Ada Icons. Free garage sale ads are among our most popular, along with help wanted, announcements and other free ads.

Except for garage sales, money-making endeavors require paid ads, which are just $10/10 days. This includes sales, services and ticketed events. The Icons offer BOGO real estate ads, which are posted on both Icons.

A majority of responders said, no, small business owners need a day off. Agreed! But if you work out of town, you may have only one day, Saturday, to shop local businesses.

Could Ada (and Bluffton) businesses get together and open one night a week until 7:00 p.m. and open later that morning? Send letters on this and other topics to [email protected].
