Team stands 8-1 after capturing Lima Sr. Tournament

Bluffton High’s boys’ tennis team continues on a record-setting pace this season. On April 22 it captured the Lima Senior High boys’ tennis tournament trophy with some impressive scoring.

Bluffton High School's baseball team clobbered Columbus Grove 14-1 and Paulding on the road 7-1, lost on the road to Crestview 10-1 and lost a close one to Miller City by a 3-1 score.

The Bluffton HS girls' softball team went 1-2 in the past three games.

The softball team defeated Paulding on the road 9-1, lost on the road to Crestview 15-12, and lost at home to Columbus Grove 8-4.

Of course, there's a Bluffton boys' and girls' junior high track sqaud.

By the looks of things, as these young athletes advance the future looks bright for BHS varsity track. Jamie Nygaard attended last week's junior high meet at Liberty Benton and shares these photos. Brandie Stackhouse is the junior high coach.

Justin Haggard gold medalist at Napoleon

Bluffton High’s boys' tennis team won its seventh straight contest this week, beating Kenton 3-2.

Bluffton won three single sets and Kenton won two double sets. The box score is attached.

Earlier Bluffton won the Napoleon tennis tourney, over Napoleon, Wauseon and Elida.

Bluffton’s Justin Haggard remained undefeated and was gold medalist winner at first singles.

Trevor Bunch and Ryan Sprague won first doubles, Levi Mikesell and Jaret Geiser took the silver in second doubles.

Third doubles of Tad Steiner and Jake Staley took silver.

Jason Bracy winning pitcher

The Bluffton High School baseball team moved to 5-6 overall and 1-2 in the NWC as it doubled the score on Ada, winning 12-5, earlier this week. Jason Bracy (2-0) was the winning pitcher.

Bluffton also beat Carey in a non-conference game 11-5. Aaron Belcher (1-1) was the winning pitcher.
