Bluffton High School athletic fall events season tickets will be held on Thursday, Aug. 8, from 12-1 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, from 12 to 1 p.m. in the BHS office. Order forms are available by clicking here.

Zak Kuhlman and Chris McClain, Bluffton High School seniors, were invited to try out for coast-to-coast baseball and been accepted to join a team that will travel from Florida, to Arizona and to Puerto Rico.

Zak has made the postion of pitcher and Chris as first baseman.They are now raising money for their travel expenses. Persons interested in contributing to their expenses can make donations at Panache, Town and Country Flowers, Polished by Joan and Diller Flooring.

The annual Bluffton High School alumni soccer games will be Saturday, Aug. 10.
Women play at 5 p.m. and men at 7 p.m. Games are played on Steinmetz Field on Harmon Road. 

Bluffton Athletes will be asking the community for donations during the annual Athletic Booster Drive on Tuesday, Aug. 6. All athletes and parents/adult drivers need to meet at the high school at 5:30 p.m.. Pizza will be served to the athletes prior to them leaving on their routes. It is very important for parents to volunteer as chaperones during this fundraising event.

Hannah Chappell-Dick, freshman,  and the Eastern Mennonite University women's track and field team picked up one final honor from the 2012-13 athletic year, as each was awarded for academic work by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

 

The Lady Royals were one of 148 institutions to earn an All-Academic Team recognition.  Eastern Mennonite had a team GPA of 3.10, just hitting the benchmark for team status.
