Bluffton High School track standout Kendra Bassitt, a senior at Ashland University, competed at the Division II Indoor Track and Field Nationals in Birmingham, Alabama on March 9.

She placed 4th in the nation in the pentathlon recording the following:
• High jump (5'7 3/4") 
• Hhot put (37-2 1/2)

Last year she finished 11th.
