BLUFFTON - The Bluffton High School girls softball team lost 11-1 to visiting Northwest Conference rival Lima Central Catholic on a warm evening Monday, April 28.
The Pirate girls dropped to 2-7 overall and 1-3 in the NWC with the loss. LCC improved to 4-7 and 3-1 in NWC play after the convincing win.
Bluffton scored first in the second inning as Danielle Cross tripled and came home on a Jessa Swank RBI.
ADA – The visiting Bluffton High School tennis team defeated local rival Ada 5-0 on Monday, April 28 at War Memorial Park.
The Pirates improved to 8-2 with the victory, while the Bulldogs fell to 2-3 with the shutout loss.
Bluffton senior Branson Hilty and Ada senior Nathan Williams played a tough, long three-setter at first singles. Williams won the first set 6-2, but Hilty battled back to lead 6-5 in the second set.

CONVOY – The visiting Bluffton High School baseball team lost 8-0 at Northwest Conference rival Crestview Thursday, April 24.
The Pirates fell to 6-8 overall and 1-2 in NWC play with the defeat.
Crestview improved to 6-6 overall and 4-1 in the NWC after the win.
The Knights scored four runs in the fourth to build a 5-0 lead. The hosts tacked on three more scores in the sixth to put it out of reach.
