Feb. 2 Art Exhibit: “BioGeo, Rhythms in Form,” by Adrienne Leban, Grace Albrecht Gallery of Bluffton University’s Sauder Visual Arts Center, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 1-5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sunday through Feb. 19
BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University women’s basketball team cruised to a sweep of the season series over the Mount St. Joseph University Lions with a 75-46 victory on Wednesday, Jan. 27. The victory kept #21 Bluffton’s record unscathed at 18-0 overall and 11-0 in HCAC play. The Lions fell to 5-13 and 4-7 in conference action.
CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Bluffton University men’s basketball team traveled south down I-75 to take on the Mount St. Joseph University Lions on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016. The Beavers were unable to carry on their momentum from Saturday’s victory over Franklin, falling by a score of 76-59. The win for the Lions pushed their season tally to 12-6 (9-2 and first place in the HCAC), while Bluffton dipped to 9-9 (4-7 HCAC).
Bluffton University art faculty member Philip Sugden’s installation, A Page from the Manual on Dismantling God, is currently on view in the Elzay Gallery of Art at Ohio Northern University. Sugden is an assistant professor of art at Bluffton.
Some pieces within this exhibit are based on location drawings, which Sugden completed during 12 journeys in the Himalayas of India, Nepal and Tibet.
Bluffton University students will report on their Fall 2015 semester experience studies in Guatemala, Washington D.C., England and Ireland during two Forums on Tuesday, Feb. 9.
The first session will be held at 11 a.m. in Founders Hall. This presentation will feature students who studied in Guatemala. The second presentation will be held at 7 p.m. in Yoder Recital Hall. Students who studied in Washington D.C., England and Ireland will share their experiences during this time.
