Old pool bath house

Here's a Bluffton scene that you've never viewed. It's the Marsh Run overflowing at the Buckeye. The building on the left is the former floating swimming pool bath house.

To correctly identify this location, you'd need to stand on the small bridge behind the Chinese restaurant on North Main Street and look north.

This photo was a color slide taken by Paul Diller in the early 1950s. Jim Diller, Paul's son, is transferring that slide collection into digital prints.

Trinity Lutheran observes Reformation Sunday

A remembrance of The Reformation will be in the Sunday, Nov. 1, services at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera.  On Oct. 31, 1517, a monk named Martin Luther, nailed a paper on which were written 95 Theses, to the Castle Church door in Wittenberg, Germany.

This sparked changes in the church at that time, which are still upheld today. Service times are 8 and 10:30 a.m.

Sunday services are uploaded to You Tube each week. Search Trinity Lutheran Church, Jenera.
